WHAT IS MAZIE'S MISSION?
Mazie's Mission is a very special non-profit veterinarian hospital. We are thrilled to partner with such a unique and innovative organization that works tirelessly on behalf of critically ill animals in need. Big Earth Racing is proud to join forces with this wonderful animal hospital. In addition to donating profits from the Wiki Wiki Man Triathlon to Mazie's Mission, we are committed to working with Mazie's year round to help raise funds, save lives, and find homes for less fortunate animals in need. We hope you will share in our enthusiasm by donating a few bucks to a very worthy cause.
Mazie's Mission works exclusively with rescue organizations, municipal shelters and other non-profit organizations devoted to animal welfare. Mazie’s was formed to bring a self-sustaining, focused approach to animal welfare with the purpose of eliminating unnecessary euthanasia. They accomplish this by providing professional medical care, expert forensic evidence, and adoption assistance to shelters, rescue groups, first responders, and other nonprofit animal welfare groups. The ultimate goal of Mazie’s Mission is to establish a world class hospital and “lifetime” sanctuary for the care of those animals that cannot find a home.

Mazie's Mission takes pets that other groups can not. Often times these beautiful creatures are in desperate need of love and rehabilitation. A medical foster is a big commitment, but nursing an animal back to health is a one of a kind feeling. Mazie's needs Fosters of all experience levels. If you don't have the time to Foster, but still want to contribute to an extremely worthy cause, Volunteer! There are multiple ways you can get involved. Help at the clinic, participate in adoption events, assist with marketing, fundraising, transporting animals, community programs and projects, or just answering phones. Even if you can only come by one day a week on your lunch break, Mazie's wants to hear from you! They are always in need of more volunteers. A small commitment of answer phones, or the small task of helping to clean up would mean the world to Mazie's Mission.
